The song which made him famous - "Dein ist Mein Ganzes Herz" ("You Are My Heart's Delight") from the filmed version of the operetta "Das Land des Lächelns" ("The Land of Smiles") made in 1930. Tauber invested his own money in this production however at the time it was a flop.

"O, Vaterland", a German version of the aria "Champs Paternels", from the opera "Joseph en Egypte", composed by Etienne Mehul (1763 - 1817).The pianist is Paul Dessau (1894-1979), a noted composer who was music director for several of Tauber's films.
