Imagine my surprise - and delight when surfing the net the other day I came across this piece composed by the famous Scott Joplin of ragtime fame (he composed "The Entertainer").If you would like to hear it please click on the blue bar below:-

Why Buninyong? Forced into 'retirement' by being made redundant in 2003, Donald decided that he was tired of big city life and attitudes. He had travelled around the countryside of Victoria quite a lot and eventually decided to settle in Buninyong. He lives in a large house set on an 18 acre Australian native bushland setting which is peaceful and secluded, yet only 5 minutes away from the village. Buninyong is close to Ballarat and the traffic is minimal. If necessary, Melbourne is only one and a half hours away.  Apart from looking after the Estate, Donald also finds time to run a Bookkeeping Service and publish this website. What's "Schaanwald", then? When Donald lived in beautiful downtown Richmond (a leafy inner Melbourne suburb) the house next door bore the name "Clissold". Some wit promptly said that Donald's house should be called "Ahhsolde" (the spelling has been modified to protect the weak-hearted) . On moving to the country Donald didn't want to be lumbered with an equally risqué name for his new property so he chose "Schaanwald", which is the name of a small village in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Both having something or other to do with the murky past of Donald's ancestors.
