| Review: (Table Talk) | ||||||
| "The Ernest C. Rolls musical stage production which forms half of the show at The Regent this week is entitled "Beauty on Parade". | ||||||
| The comedy, with the exception of Gus Bluett's "Buying a Hat" and "The Operatic Interlude" with Gus Bluett and Jennie Benson, was not strong, and the most attractive member of the Company, Nellie Barnes, we were permitted to view the least, but, nevertheless, there were some attractive numbers in the ballet - "A Harem for Butterflies", the setting for "The Bowl of Cherries" number. Maie Baird, Archie Thompson and Harry S in their often clever burlesque of a tango, and the adagio work of L'Etoile and Lawrence in the finale. | ||||||
| The sketches, for the most part are neither very clever nor very new, and the jokes more suggestive than humerous. | ||||||
