| Mr. Stan Porter, conductor of the Regent Theatre Orchestra, Sydney, will begin a season as guest conductor at the Melbourne Regent on Saturday next. Mr. Porter who is an Englishman by birth has been in Australia about 15 years and was in charge of the State Theatre Orchestra, Melbourne before taking up his Sydney appointment. Mr. Will Cade, the well known musical director of the Regent and Plaza Theatres will go to Sydney as guest conductor during Mr. Porter's season here. | ||||||
